Hi, I’m Milicent
I’m an award winning change maker, rest and transformation coach, and founder of The Easeful Path.
For over 20 years, I worked in philanthropy, government, and nonprofits, leading efforts in social change and collective wellbeing. Like many high-capacity women, I eventually hit the limits of pushing through.
A decade with chronic illness and burnout taught me this: Transformation begins when we slow down enough to truly listen.
In 2021, I founded The Octavia Fund, a rest and restoration initiative for Black women leaders that has supported over 100 women across sectors in finding their way back to rest, purpose, and power.
That work deepened what I now know to be true: Rest isn’t a luxury - it’s a source of clarity, capacity, and power. And it’s the key to living a life of purpose and fulfillment.
I work with women who are ready to trade burnout for clarity, exhaustion for energy, and over functioning for rhythms that actually restore them.

The Easeful Reset is a 1:1 coaching experience designed to help you step back, reconnect with yourself, get clear, and create space for what’s next.
You’ll learn how to work with your nervous system, honor your body and energy, trust your inner wisdom, and create rhythms that restore you.

The Easeful Path is an intimate, seasonal, 3 month group coaching experience where we design and practice living a rested life.
We gather as women navigating full lives and quiet longings, ready to pause, exhale, and explore what becomes possible when we believe we are worthy of rest.

Reclaim + Restore retreats are intimate, in-person gatherings held on the California coast.
Through guided rest practices, embodied reflection, practical tools, and quiet time in nature, you’ll reconnect with your body’s rhythm and remember what it feels like to be deeply nourished.
